Copper has been the trusted metal for plumbing for over a century. Our copper pipe, tube, and fittings meet the demanding requirements of potable water systems, fire protection, and hydronic heating.
Plumbing and water systems require metals that are safe for potable water contact, resist corrosion from water chemistry, and provide decades of leak-free service. Copper remains the preferred material for water distribution, while brass valves and fittings provide reliable connections.
Materials must comply with NSF/ANSI 61 and the Safe Drinking Water Act for lead-free water contact.
Resistance to dezincification, pitting, and stress corrosion cracking from varying water chemistries.
Tube and pipe must be rated for working pressures per ASTM B88 and local plumbing codes.
Copper plumbing systems routinely last 50–70 years, reducing lifecycle cost and environmental impact.
We supply the following metals and product forms to serve plumbing & water systems applications.
Type K, L, and M copper tube for potable water distribution, DWV drainage systems, and fire sprinkler mains. Inherently antimicrobial and biofouling resistant.
Lead-free brass (C260, C360) for valves, fittings, and fixture connections. Meets NSF/ANSI 61 requirements for potable water contact.
C932 and C905 tin bronzes for valve bodies, pump housings, and marine-grade plumbing fittings requiring superior corrosion resistance.
